I love being in the classroom -- in any learning environment.

To me, the best classes are ones in which we all learn something new -- or at least learn a new way of thinking about a subject.

I found my "calling" as an educator when I started teaching advertising as an adjunct professor at a local community college while I was a marketing manager at People magazine. And the power of this calling is reinforced every time I walk into a classroom and experience the joy of teaching, the power of learning.

I love mentoring people, especially students. And the most rewarding part is that it is not just mentoring at one point in time, but a lifetime of mentoring -- mentoring and friendship.
